1/2 cup granulared sugar
4 Tablespoons melted butter
2 (14 oz) cans sweetened condensed milk
1 cup keylime juice
2 whole eggs
1 cup sour cream
2 tablespoons powdered sugar
1 tablespoon lime zest

In a bowl, mix the graham cracker crumbs, sugar, and butter with your hands. Press the mixture firmly into a 9 inch pie plate, and bake until brown (about 20 minutes). Remove from the oven and let cool to room temperature before filling.

Lower the oven temperature to 325 degrees F.

In a separate bowl, combine condensed milk, juice, and eggs. Stir by hand until well blended and pour into the cooled pie shell. Bake in the oven for 20 minutes. Refrigerate until chilled.

Once cooled, combine the sour cream and powdered sugar and spread on top using a spoon. Garnish with the lime zest (optional)

Posted by PicasaI took this picture back in January when I was on my trip to Utah. I just love it.

April 2009

In April we all got together at grandma and grandpa's house and had our annual Easter egg hunt.
They found the golden egg and won the big prize.

Jani always plans a hunt for the adults too. It was in the orchard this year.

This was my basket in the lemon tree.

March 2009

I did the Dole Great Race of Agoura and I saw several people I knew.

My neice Jena and her husband Jason.

Me and Jason.

February 2009

I went to Utah in February too. It was a very short trip, but memorable.

I Love this picture, and I'm so glad it was taken because this is the last time I saw Sister Turley before she passed away.

The snow was simply beautiful in Utah as you can see in these pictures.

Grandpa Turley had to walk to the temple to do a few sealings, so we (Me, Carly, and Nicki) walked with him. It was so cold, but I loved it. He lives just across from the church office building, so it wasn't too far. We warmed up in the visitors center before we went home.

January 2009

Wow! It has been a long time since I have posted anything on my Blog. When I tried to get in, I realized that I had forgotten my password, but as you can see I have figured it out.

I'll try to catch you up on some of the the things that I have done and the things that have happened over the past year.
In January, I drove to Utah with a friend and I really had a fun time. On the way up, we ended up driving in a snow storm, something I've never experienced in my life. It was pretty wild. I let my friend take over when the snow started falling.

Strong, Dark, and with a Snap of a Finger...He Does Just What I Want Him to Do...What more could I want from Life?

Isn't he just beautiful! I bought this new little guy to tide me over until I can get my "real camera." This little guy has so many wonderful features. He's shockproof, waterproof, snowproof, light weight, and you can carry him almost anywhere. You'll see how wonderful he really is, soon.

Four of My Twelve Nephews

Dinner at Jewels New Place

Jewels moved into a new place with a couple of girls about a month ago. She had me, Mom & Dad, and her family over for a tasty dinner. She made a nice bow tie pasta dish. Jani brought home-made guacamole and a yummie fresh fruit salad, and Jena brought a crisp green salad with tomatoes. Everything was wonderful. I love being with my family...they are the BEST!

My Sunday Baby

Several months ago a gal in my ward asked me if I would be willing to hold her baby during church. Hello!!! Did she come to the right person or what? I miss having little ones around. I told her, "Holding babies in church should be my calling for the rest of my life." I love them!
